’Troubles All Be Gone’! The BSC feat. Taly. A huge anthem of 70s Soul, Blaxploitation. Two years ago I played an old Otis Redding cover with a band in Sagres/Algarve, when some sweet lady took the stage. Ah ok, she’s a tourist, wanna have some fun … why not, I thought. She grabbed the mike and PHEWWW, all monitors boosted!! What a voice, a demonstration of purest power. I’ve learned she is not a tourist, but a local artist from the Algarve. Then, two years later I've recorded Taly, my lovely neighbor from Raposeira, during the first few days of Corona. It seemed the perfect hymn to celebrate the end of these strange days quite soon. Today, the virus is still with us, but the song hasn’t lost any of it’s powerful meaning … Come on Taly, give us some hope!
